Jews College, Ninety-Fourth Annual Report, 1951.

1951JewsCollege01Jews College was founded as a Rabbinical Seminary in London in 1855. In 1951 it was housed in Woburn House, Tavistock Square.

I have quite a few Jews College items in my collection, including publications and annual reports. I have previously written about the Jubilee of Jews College in 1906, the 75th Anniversary in 1931 and Annual Reports for 1937 and for 1939. Now, here are selections from the report for 1951.  Post-War Jews College is flourishing, and the lists below include all staff and students.  There are interesting names of future prominent Rabbonim and Chazanim:
