Order of Service at the Official Opening and Consecration of the new Finchley Synagogue, Kinloss Gardens, London, 16th April 1967.

Finchley1Finchley United Synagogue, in North West London, often known as “Kinloss” is a large orthodox Synagogue with architectural features that look like the grill of a Rolls Royce (at least, to me).  The site was originally acquired by the United Synagogue in 1934, and there was an earlier building on the site.

This is the Order of Service from the Opening and Consecration of the new building in 1967.

My copy has an event from the Sunday before tipped in – the Annual Prize Distribution of the nearby Hendon Synagogue (Raleigh Close), which took place on 9th April 1967.
